This is the last episode of MoonBaseNine, a very short-lived public access fan-vid series (only 3 were made) based on the MST3K comedy series. It featured Commander Phil and Fanghorn the talking plant. By this show I had given up doing the series; the cartoon shorts did not lend themselves very well to riffing; I dropped the whole shadowrama idea and just let the series end.

Phil Dejean returned as Phil the Commander. Nathaniel Torres provides the voice of Fanghorn.

In this episode Fanghorn is affected by a disturbance in space and transforms into something else. A song was written for his appearance after his metamorphosis but it was cut from the final version, due to lack of singing ability on my part. Several shadowrama sequences were filmed but the jokes fell flat, I put a halt to the videotaping and told everyone to go home, the rest of the shadowrama material went unfinished.

Dejean designed his own outfit. The new Fanghorn puppet was hell to manipulate and we had no "puppet pit" below that I could sit inside of. I was lying on my side on the floor struggling to keep that heavy puppet head high above me; it was then that I knew I didn't want to do the show anymore; not this way at any rate.

The short cartoons were all made using Adobe Photoshop and Apple Quicktime Pro, then imported into iMovie for editing and exporting. The music was created on a PC using MusicMaker Deluxe 2004, exported as .WAV files and imported into iMovie on a Mac.
